At the beginning of the 2017/18 academic year, the Państwowa Wyższa Szkoła Teatralna in Krakow changed its name to: Akademia Sztuk Teatralnych im. St. Wyspiańskiego in Krakow.

The new logo references the construction and form of the former PWST logo, designed in the 1980s by Jerzy Napieracz.
Along with the new logo, a comprehensive visual identity project for AST was developed: a signage system encompassing branches, consistent typography, a color palette, and the layout for documents, printed materials, informational and promotional materials.
Posters and program brochures have a unified layout and appearance, so they immediately communicate AST at first glance.
