The main goal of the new identity was to break the corporate image of the programming industry. The new identity achieves this through a flexible approach to the logo, absurd thematic illustrations, and the combination of these with photographic material.

The inspiration for the illustrative material and the color scheme of the identity comes from schematic drawings used in instruction manuals.

The new Software Mansion logo is based on two of the most recognizable elements of the previous logo: a geometric, three-dimensional form and the name inscribed within it. The role of the emblem in the new identity is played by a shortened version of the logo with the abbreviation “swm” inscribed. The shape of the logo resembles a computer keyboard key.
